Jackson is a small dog. Loves a tummy rub. Very calm and quiet. a real gentleman.
Bella is an under 5 year old Golden Mix who came to GRRR as a stray from a shelter.  She is petite, around 40 lbs.  Bella is shy around strangers, but warms up and is friendly.  She is good around the foster family’s other Golden, and is good around kids.  Bella loves to snuggle and play.  Won’t you consider giving her a forever home?

Scout - He is a very handsome boy with a goofy smiley. He has a fixation with food, will try to counter surf and get into food or trash if it is left unattended. He has a great personality and can be quite calm and also likes to play. He is definitely a lover boy, likes to be cuddled and petted. His favorite toy so far is a stuffed animal. He appears to be housebroken so far. No accidents except for possibly trying to mark territory. I put him in a crate when I left the house for 8 hours, but left him out with my two other dogs and a few rooms closed off for 4 hours. He gets along great with my other two dogs a female rott mix and a male husky mix. Appears to have some leash training although he tugs a bit. Also knows sit and we're working on down and stay. Having been in boarding for 21 days before I got him, he is doing wonderfully and will make a great pet for almost anyone.

Update from Scout's Foster Family:

Scout has settled into his foster home nicely. He has a GREAT personality and is mellow most of the time. He is content to be right where I am. Loves to be petted and loved.  I can touch him all over, look at his mouth, paws etc. and isn't bothered by it. He also loves to be brushed. His favorite toy is a stuffed rabbit that he loves to toss in the air and play tug with. He is improving on a leash and knows sit, down, stay, and shake. He still loves food and I keep my counters clear to be safe. He has learned to wait for his own food before receiving it by telling him sit & stay. Since being here he has had a few accidents on the floor, but has been doing great lately. He can hold it for at least 8 hours safely. Beyond that time alone someone may want to crate him although we haven't. He is living in a house with 2 adults and 2 dogs. He is fantastic with all of us. The only problem I've encountered is that his is unsure of strangers in our home and acts defensive. He has been improving, but we don't have visitors often. We watch him and keep hold of him or crate him during their visit. Since we are unsure of his past, we do not know what he's been through. I heard he looked like a mess when he first came in. A new home where people are patient and are willing to work with him would be great. He has been to 2 adoption events so far. He is great with all people, including kids. He has been temperamental with the other dogs, but is great with our 2 at home. He is an absolute joy to have around!

Shena - This young golden mix is both beautiful and smart!.  She came to us a couple of months ago and promptly had a litter of 8 puppies.  The puppies are weaned and Shena is ready for a new home.  She needs an experienced family and a 6 ft fence.  Shena would make a great agility dog as she learned the dog walk and the teeter in no time at all.  She does show some separation anxiety so a family where someone is home a lot would also be great.  Sweet and affectionate - she is good with kids and other dogs.

Mason - here's another really nice dog who's family no longer has time for him.  They feel badly about giving him up but feel it is the most fair thing to do.

His owners say:

He is great with children and pretty good with other dogs. He does not like cats or squirrels. He is housebroken with only a rare accident when left alone for too long. He does have free reign of the house and is used to being on furniture.

He LOVES riding in the car. He must be kept on a leash...he will run as soon as he figures out he's not on a leash. He is easy to recover, though. All you have to do is find him and open your car door. He will jump right in.

He does not chew inappropriately but will snatch up ANY food within reach. He loves to run. He would really love a place with a fenced in yard that he could run in. He doesn't bark often and doesn't jump on people.

Like we said, he is not a problem. That is not why we are giving him up. We are the problem, and we do feel terrible that we cannot give him what he needs.

Won't you give Mason the home and attention he needs?

Wizard - He is approx. two years old. He was a stray picked up by a kill shelter. He is high energy but has calmed down a lot and will sit first before he is petted. He likes to take walks and is doing better on a leash. He loves people and seems to get along with dogs. It is unknown about cats. He is a beautiful dog. He would be good with someone who is active and likes to take walks and would exercise him.

Courtesy Posting:  Hi, my name is Copper. I'm part Husky and part Golden Retriever. I am 1 1/2 years old. I have a lot of puppy energy and I need alot of exercise, but I would rather be near my owner than be outside by myself. I love other dogs, but I think of myself as the boss. I also really like kids. I love lots of attention and need lots of love. All my veterinarian check-ups are current and healthy. I am perfect for you!
Murphy is a young male, probably about a year and a half old. Murphy is currently in boarding because he is in need of a special owner/foster home. Murphy needs a very dominant personality who is familiar with dogs to work with him. He cannot be adopted where there are children or other dogs. Murphy has some possession aggression that he is currently getting better with but still needs to out-grow some of his behaviors. Murphy is extremely smart and knows many commands and he needs someone that will use them with him. If you know what you are doing with him, he will make a great pet, he is a very awesome dog. He will need a fenced in yard to play fetch in – he will play until your arm falls off!

He is up to date on all of his shots and he is neutered. If you are interested in meeting Murphy, please email Rachel at rachelsgoldens@gmail.com
This is Sarge. He's about 6 years old and full of love. Sarge is definitely a cuddly, fluffy teddy bear. He loves people, loves kids, gets along with cats and most dogs. Sarge is fully housebroken, crate trained and obedience trained. He is neutered and up to date on his shots until March. He loves to curl up next to you in the evening and loves to go for walks and chase balls. He has lived with 4 cats, 6 dogs and 5 kids for the last 2 years. Due to a financial crisis his family has been forced to re-home him. He is very sweet, gentle and loving. If you're looking for that perfect loving companion please call Cori at 419.966.5479 for more info on this beautiful boy.
Annie & Kodi - These two beautiful dogs came to us as a pair and were adopted out as a pair. Their owners are getting a divorce and can't keep them, so they are back with us again. We want them to continue to stay together after everything they have been through. They are two very nice dogs that don't seem to have any behavioral issues except Kodi can break out of a crate. He doesn't do anything wrong in the house once he's out, but he does not like to be crated. They are up to date on their shots and waiting for a family to love them. The do fine with other dogs and cats and love kids!
Hi! My name is Boscoe. I'm about 3-4 months old, probably closer to 4. A dog warden picked me up and took me to a shelter and now I am with the nice people at GRRR and they are going to help me find a new home! So far, I haven't had any accidents in the house. I like to play with the other dogs at my foster home. I sleep in a crate and stay there while my foster mom is at work. I'm not old enough to be neutered yet, but I have been getting my shots. I would love to find my forever home!
This is Zoey. She is about 8 months old and is adorable. She appears to have some border collie in her. Her fur is long and soft and she is very friendly. She may need some help with house breaking but has a loving personality and will make a nice addition to any household.
This girl is also named Zoey. She is a young golden retriever, approximately 2 years old. She is quite small for her age, weighing only 35 pounds. She is medium size but would do better with a little more weight. At first she appeared very shy and a little overwhelmed by all of the changes in her life. In the week she has been in boarding she is beginning to come out of her shell and seems to be quite playful . She would be good with kids and probably would fit into many household settings.
J.R. is a lab mix. He is big and full of energy. He will do well in a household where he gets plenty of exercise. He has a happy go lucky disposition and seems to like most everyone. The family who adopts him may need to take J.R. for some basic training as he is a young, strong dog. He will settle more once he gets into a home and a regular routine. J.R. will make a great pal for someone.
These two are Logan and Dusty. They came to GRRR from the same household. Logan is a young  lab male under 5 years old. He is very cute and seems to have a nice disposition. Dusty is a medium size female also around 4-5 years old. Due to injury that could not be repaired, one of Dusty's front legs has been amputated. She has recovered from the surgery nicely however and has learned to compensate for her lost limb. She likes toys and is playful. She has a sweet disposition and would be a great addition for the right family. Dusty and Logan may need to be adopted adopted together.
Hi! My name is Lucky; I got that name because the lady that saved me says my personality is "Happy-go-Lucky"! Turns out, I've had a little bit of bad luck because I was heartworm positive. But the nice people got me treated for it, neutered and updated on all my shots, so now I'm ready to find my forever home! I've only been living in a house for a few weeks because I had to stay at a Kennel after my heartworm treatment so I could stay quiet. I really like living in a house! My foster mom says I am housebroken and very loving. I get along with other dogs and I really like the cat, even though he won't play with me! They say I am over five, but I don't act very old. I'd love to find my forever home!
Hi, my name is Molly. I am small, only about 55 lbs. My previous owner didn't' have time for me and kept me in the garage most of the time. I was really scared and wasn't sure about people until the nice people at GRRR came and got me and let me know that people are nice. I am putting on a little weight now that I get fed regularly because when they picked me up they said I was too skinny. I have been spayed and I have all of my shots. Now that I know people are nice, sometimes I get too excited when the come to see me. I am living at a kennel right now where I get out for a walk a few times a day, but I would love to come live with you! I like other dogs too – I love to play! I'm not sure if I'm housebroken, but with some patience and someone to teach me, I think I could catch on quickly. I would love if you would adopt me and take me to an obedience class so we can bond!
