Max is such a wonderful boy! He has been in our home since August and has been a great playmate to one of our other dogs. He lets her win the wrestling rounds. He outweighs her by 30 pounds but is very careful with her. Max has learned a lot living in our home. He knows his basic commands and will do anything for a treat. He is a lovable boy and loves to be with people and other dogs. He would be best in a home without young children. He will want to play with them and he does not know his own strength. He will also need to go to an obedience class. This will help him bond to his new family and he will need work on the leash and the come command. He loves running in the back yard and smelling all the scents around, so he should have a home with a fenced in yard so he can be out exploring for longer periods of time. He is a great boy and he would make a great addition to your family.

Max weighs over 100 pounds and he was born 7/7/07. Max requires a home without young children and with a family who will dedicate the training foster mom has started with this sweet boy. Max HAS to have his blanket near by! He does not chew it, just loves to cuddle in it (maybe with you?!). His other favorite pastime is his pool. He loves the water! He does not chew his soft stuffed bone but carries it around like a baby! He is absolutely a very handsome boy and is waiting for the opportunity to have a place to call home!
