Shawna, the lighter colored golden retriever in the picture. Shawna is soooo glad to be in a home. She is a 5 to 6 year old puppy mill girl, very shy and timid.  As you can see, she trusts dogs more than people and it will take time for you to earn her friendship. Her fosters greeted her with a nice warm bath, and let her hang out with their other Golden Retriever Rescue Resource adopted dogs. It is one big happy family and she is progressing nicely with the TLC she is getting from her loving fosters. Shawna would probably feel more comfortable in a home with another dog. Because we do not know the complete background of this dog, Golden Retriever Rescue Resource will not place this dog with children under the age of 8.
