Our list of adoption events change frequently. Please always check this page and our Facebook page for up to date Golden Retriever Rescue Resource dog adoption events. Please make sure you read our "steps to adoption, adoption policies" before making a trip to the adoption event. This is a meet and greet event, you cannot take dogs home the same day. Our next golden retriever adoption meet and greet event
Bewitched Harvest Art and Craft Show, held at the Premier Banquet Hall, 4480 Heatherdowns Blvd, across from the Stranahan Theatre in Toledo. We'll be there Sat. October 19 from 9am to 4pm and Sun. October 20th 11am to 4pm with golden retriever crafts to take home and some of your favorite golden dogs for adoption!
What to bring to the dog adoption event...
Family: It's always a good idea to bring your entire family to the adoption events. Wear old clothes as goldens love to lean and get close.
Application: If you have completed an application, please bring a copy with you to our adoption meet and greet event.
Expectations: You may not find the love of your life at the first event. Always, try, try again.
Checkbook: You just never know when you might want to contribute financially to help our dogs :) Thank you!
