Milo is looking for a new home!  For those of you that follow us online, he was born on 12/12/11 as Barkley, one of Rosebud's pups who whelped 2 days after coming into the rescue! 

Milo was surrendered as his family was unable to spend the time he needed due to work and personal reasons. 

He has been with a wonderful foster, brought current on vaccines, groomed, and is now looking for a forever home. As you can see in his photos, he has one unusual coat of shorter sable fur with long white fur!  Rosebud was a purebred golden retriever, so who knows about the dad!  Milo is apprehensive of  men and strangers and may take some time to overcome that fear. In his former home, he would run under the table and shake.  He is doing better in his foster home with the man of the house, but took time for Milo to trust him. He also is a ladies man, and prefers to have a female for a canine sibling.  He formerly lived with a 6 year old Golden.  Milo's favorite pastimes include playing ball, chewing on his nylabone, and cuddling in bed.  His other not so good pastime was inappropriate chewing, but like all youngsters who are not attended, it is not unusual.  Milo is asking for a family where someone will be home during the day, or will only be left for a short period of time. He will also require a fenced in yard, and no children under 10 years of age.  We are asking the adopting family to attend an obedience class with him to further socialize him with dogs and humans alike.
