Brooke is an incredible 2-year-old puppy mill mom who was set free to start living life on January 20th. Brooke had a life her first two years as a puppy mill breeding dog.
She was doing well settling into her foster home and was learning what it is like to be a real dog in a loving home. While she was in her foster home, she loved playing in the snow and she is doing great with the dogs in her foster home. Brooke found a dog bed she loved and she is thinking about crawling up onto the lap of her foster mom. Brooke is still timid with people, so needs another dog in the home in order to learn that people are good.
A physical fence is safer with puppy mill girls as they are sensitive to corrections the invisible fence gives, and with correction, they can go through the fence.
Brooke visited the vet to be spayed in early February and it was discovered she was pregnant with 5 puppies. Brooke delivered her puppies on March 7th. She'll be nursing her puppies and then will be ready to be adopted once spayed.
If you are interested in adopting Brooke once her puppies are ready to leave the nest or one of Brooke's puppies, please read
"How To Adopt" and follow the directions from there if you qualify. Decisions on who will be adopting the puppies will be made around April 4th once the puppies develop personalities. Puppies will be ready to go to their forever homes around May 2nd. Brooke will be ready to go to her forever home around the same time period.
