This incredibly handsome boy is Bear who will have his first birthday on Christmas Eve. He brightened up when he saw the two kids in his foster home. He has never lived inside a home before, has never walked on a leash, has never seen a TV, etc. so Bear has a lot to learn. Time and patience with these dogs that come from puppy mills is the key to everything.
Bear is better socialized then most of the puppy mill dogs we have taken into the rescue. The foster family was evaluating whether Bear is a good fit for them for adoption and he is now pending adoption. You too can be a foster to adopt home and can get first chance to adopt a dog by fostering to adopt. When a dog comes into our program, pre-qualified homes that are willing to foster the dog get the first opportunity to say yes or no if the dog is a good fit. The first step to get qualified is to read
"How To Adopt" and follow the directions from there if you qualify.
