Brinkley is a female golden retriever born December 13th. She is one of Nala's
puppies, pictured here at six days old.
Nala gave birth to three puppies. Those that wish to adopt Brinkley need to have time in their life for a puppy. This means you should work from home or have plenty of time at home to raise a puppy. Please don't apply if you plan on crating Brinkley 9 hours a day. You'll also need lots (lots) of energy and time for training. Golden Retriever puppies are young for a long time. Bringing Brinkley home will be just like having a new baby in the home (loss of sleep, constant attention). Having another younger, but well trained dog in your home to show her the ropes is ideal.
Brinkley will be able to go to her forever home after she is weaned, around Valentine's Day. Understand, taking Brinkley into your family could be a 15 year commitment if you are lucky. Puppies are great, but if you have young children they will not like their sharp puppy teeth. Brinkley will also not know what toys are hers or theirs, therefore it is best to have older children if you have kids in your home.
